The National Green Building Program is the first and only residential green building-rating program to undergo the full consensus process and receive approval from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).  The National Green Building Standard was established in 2007 and five years later in 2012 Seabourn Cove is the Largest Multi family project to receive a National Green Building Standard (NGBS) Gold Certification. Seabourn Cove (seabourncove.com) is located in Boynton Beach, FL.  The project consists of multiple phases totaling 456 units on 23 acres of land.  The buildings are amazing two to three stories high featuring single flats around 800 square feet to 3 bedroom units including parking garages.  There will be a mixed population of occupants including families to singles.

The 336-unit project will replace a 21-acre mobile home park on the west side of Interstate 95 between Sheridan Street and Taft Street near the Tri-Rail station. The residential component is part of a larger transit-oriented development plan with additional offices and retail to be built by other developers, though Ram and Pinnacle have committed to building a six-acre public park. The apartment community will have units ranging from one to three bedrooms, plus a clubhouse, pool and a fitness center.

Shadetree will include 260 units situated on 30 acres in Ruskin's Cypress Village neighborhood, an upscale gulf course community. Shadetree will mark the first significant market rate apartment development that the submarket has seen in decades, and will be delivered at a time when the area is undergoing tremendous growth. This growth is exemplified by recent changes in the region’s population, which some estimate has grown 75% since 2000 and will continue to grow by 10%+ through 2020. Perhaps the most prominent indicator of area growth has been Ruskin’s Amazon fulfillment center, which employs 2,500 full-time workers and is situated less than 1 mile from the Shadetree site. Additional employers within a 5-mile radius include two higher education institutions and two major hospitals, all of which are in phases of rapid expansion. Residing just 2 miles from an I-75 interchange, Shadetree tenants will also enjoy commutes of 30 minutes or less to major employment centers in Brandon/Riverview, Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, and downtown Tampa and downtown St. Petersburg.  Construction is scheduled to begin Summer 2017.
