The National Green Building Program is the first and only residential green building-rating program to undergo the full consensus process and receive approval from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). The National Green Building Standard was established in 2007 and five years later in 2012, Seabourn Cove is the Largest Multi-family project to receive a National Green Building Standard (NGBS) Gold Certification. This 336-unit project will replace a 21-acre mobile home park on the west side of Interstate 95 between Sheridan Street and Taft Street near the Tri-Rail station. The residential component is part of a larger transit-oriented development plan with additional offices and retail to be built by other developers, although, Ram and Pinnacle have committed to building a six-acre public park. The apartment community will have units ranging from one to three bedrooms, plus a clubhouse, pool and a fitness center. Sheridan station also received a bronze level certification from the National Green Building Standard (NGBS) and achieved 17.45% energy savings over 2009 IECC baseline costs.

Built in 2017, Madison Crossing II is the second apartment building built in Kissimmee, Florida by Paramount Communities as affordable housing for the elderly. Two Trails managed the certification process of these apartments and through that process, Madison Crossing II has been certified as National Green Building Standard (NGBS) bronze for its sustainability in development and in operation. This apartment building also achieved 15.10% energy savings compared to 2009 IECC baselines.
