2013 New Southern Home Unveiling
July 9, 2013 - Orlando, FL: NWC Construction has completed the 2013 New Southern Home right on schedule for its highly anticipated unveiling as the official show home of the Southeast Building Conference (SEBC) Thursday, July 11 - Saturday, July 13. The home is located at 5136 Belleville Ave, Belle Isle, Florida, less than a twenty minute drive from the Orange County Convention Center. With 3,200 square feet under air and 4,000 square feet under roof, the 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom pool home, complete with elevator, features a universal floor-plan with a master bedroom and bath both upstairs and down. Synergy Building Corp. is a design/build construction management company that has achieved a new first for Sarasota, the largest LEED Platinum home in Sarasota. This area of Florida is a hot bed of firsts for the green building industry. Synergy Building chose Two Trails Green Building Consulting as consultants and verifiers for this project to help them achieve this new first for the Sarasota area.
Kids R Kids, Builds First National LEED Certified Facility with Enlisted Proven Results by Two Trails Green Consulting.
The Kids R Kids LEED certified building is located in Lithia, FL & a part of the Newland Communities FishHawk Development. The facility is a 12,500 s.f. building that serves as a learning academy for children ages 6 months to 12 years of age. Kids R Kids learning academies are located in 15 states throughout the United States; this is their first facility to achieve a LEED certification.

The NAHB 2013 International Builders Show held in Las Vegas, NV at the Las Vegas Convention Center is the culmination of building industry professionals meeting on new initiatives, learning about best practices and the latest products showcased by industry manufactures. Two Trails has been fortunate enough to be recognized and participate in two events at this years show. The NAHB Green Awards ceremony where Two Trails principal was awarded Advocate of the Year and was Awarded Best Multifamily Green project of the year for work done on the Seabourn Cove Project. Two Trails was also the chosen consultants/verifiers for The NAHB 2013 New American Home showcase home featuring a local builder/design team Blue Heron and products and services from companies on the Leading Suppliers Council.

Green Trends was held this year in Palm Beach Gardens, FL at the PGA National Resort Spa on September 12-14, 2012. Summary: The National Green Building Program is the first and only residential green building-rating program to undergo the full consensus process and receive approval from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). The National Green Building Standard was established in 2007 and five years later in 2012 Seabourn Cove is the Largest Multi family project to receive a National Green Building Standard (NGBS) Gold Certification.
