BMW Mountain View takes pride in providing customers with a quality facility that was built with a focus on sustainability. Through the efforts of the design and build teams, this project has achieve a LEED Silver certification for its excellence in sustainable design and construction. During the construction process, waste management teams managed to divert over 75% of the construction waste out of landfills through various waste streams. Other green efforts that were incorporated into this project include a water use reduction of 35.32% and optimization of energy usage that has resulted in a 23.04% reduction in energy costs based ASHRAE 90.1 standards.
